All you need to know

What if I don't have the UV light pen?

To make sure the glue gel is completely cured, it's highly recommended to use UV light pen to cure the glue gel.

However, if you prefer regular UV light lamp, it is highly recommended to use those lamp higher than 50W power. Lamps with power lower than 50W won't be able to cure the glue gel through the press-on nails.

You can also purchase the light pen from Ooolala on our website. It has same function as a light lamp of 80W. It's more efficient than most of UV light pens.

What do I need to do before applying the glue gel?

Just make sure there's nothing applied already on your nail. Don't file your nail before the glue gel or it's gonna be hard to remove the press-on nails.

Can I still use the glue gel if the color of the press-on nail is solid?

Yes, you can. Only in the following situations can the glue gel not be cured completely:

1. The color of the press-on nail is black or close to black (dark red or dark brown)

2. The press-on nail has very thick cat eye design

For the above press-on nails, other kinds of glues are more recommended. It is possible to succeed with the Ooolala nail glue gel by curing the nail through all angles for over 5 minutes.

If I'm allergic to nail gel or solid nail glue gel, can I use Ooolala nail glue gel?

It's highly unrecommended. Even though our product is hypoallergenic, it is still possible to cause allergy to certain people.

How to adjust the sturdiness of the Ooolala Nail Glue Gel?

If you prefer to remove the nails within two days, just apply a thin layer when you apply the glue No.1. If you prefer to make the press-on nails stay for longer time, you can apply a very thick layer of glue No.1.

The time length of curing the glue No.1 also affects sturdiness. It's usually recommended to cure glue No.1 within 15 seconds. Continue to next step no matter how glue No.1 looks like on your nail.

Can I just apply glue No.1 or glue No.2?

No. If you only apply glue No.1, it will be very hard to remove the press-on nails. If you only apply glue No.2, the press-on nails will not stay for long time.

Other possible reasons for the glue gel not to be sturdy

1. Glue No.1 is only applied with a thin layer

2. The curing time is not long enough and the gel is not completely cured yet

3. The UV light lamp/pen doesn't reach the required power or needs to be charged

4. Didn't press the press-on nails onto the nails firmly, causing air bubbles in the glue gel

5. Used products with alcohol to clean hands in high frequency (alcohol would affect the sturdiness of glue No.1)
